Create Great Talent | OutProMembers of the LGBTQ+ community face unique challenges that impact mental health. As compared to people that identify as straight, LGBTQ+ individuals are three times more likely to experience a mental health condition. LGBTQ+ youth are four times more likely to attempt suicide, experience suicidal thoughts, and/or engage in self-harm, as compared to straight youths.
As businesses, it’s imperative to integrate mental health into your Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy. Through support and resources, organizations can promote a safe and welcoming culture for all.
Please join us for LGTBQ+ Mental Health 101 with Erin Fisk of Fisk Solutions. Erin will discuss the unique challenges facing the LGBTQ+ community, including her personal experiences, and how businesses can best support their employees.
