It’s always exciting to see one of our members get national attention. Recently, MDRD in the Amway Grand Plaza placed 2nd in the USA Today’s Readers’ Choice Best New Restaurant contest. This put MDRD against top restaurants from cities like New York, San Francisco, and Chicago. This is quite the accomplishment for their team, especially when faced with numerous challenges along the way like the pandemic and supply chain issues.
This week on the Back to Business podcast, host Connor Smithee had a chance to sit down with two members of the team that made it happen. Stephan VanHeulen, Chef de Cuisine and Parker Bulliment, General Manager are just two of the amazing staff at MDRD that helped pull this amazing feat off. They are certainly proud of the work they put in (as they should be!)
