Create Great Business: West Michigan Minority Contractors After Hours
West Michigan Minority Contractors After Hours events provide attendees the opportunity to connect with peers and gain potential business referrals. These social hour events provide a platform for buyers to connect with local minority-owned business construction professionals, as well as remove barriers for smaller construction companies to enter the market.
This month, we’re excited to hear from Drew Sorenson, Project Manager at Wolverine Building Group. Drew will be speaking about an upcoming expansion project at the United Methodist Community House, Inc. This expansion will include an older adult activity center, early childhood education center, and a 92-unit affordable senior rental apartment community. The entire apartment community will include a community room, office space that will include the leasing office, and resident services activities and shared laundry facilities. We will also be joined by Carla Moore, Chief Operations Officer of United Methodist Community House to hear about the organization’s mission and impact in our community.
Join us on Tuesday, March 15 to learn more about this exciting project and network with others involved in contracting and the skilled trades!
