Create Great Business: Business Growth Series
Formerly known as the Small Business Series, the Business Growth Series allows attendees to learn from industry experts on how best to position their business for success in the current business climate. Our May event will focus on marketing trends to grow your business. This virtual workshop experience will include three breakout sessions focusing on the topics of strategic communication, digital marketing, and relationship building. This gives participants the opportunity to network amongst their peers and ask questions in a small group format around these crucial business topics. Attendees will walk away with actionable items to take back to their organization that align with their vision for growth.

Meet the Breakout Facilitators
with Tim Dye, Founder, Dye Communications
Tim Dye is a Michigan native with extensive experience in the media and communications industries. He launched Dye Communications, a Grand Rapids based strategic communications firm, in December 2020. From 2013-2020, Tim served as a regional vice president for Truscott Rossman, a Lansing based public relations firm.
Prior to becoming a communications consultant, Tim worked in leadership positions at four of Michigan’s largest and most influential television news stations, WXYZ-TV, WXMI-TV, WOOD-TV, and WNEM-TV. He was the selected as the founding news director at FOX 17 (WXMI-TV) in Grand Rapids in 1999, directing the launch of the station’s highly successful news department. He and his staff were honored with numerous journalism awards during his 12 years at the station.
During his career, Tim served on editorial excellence committees for Tribune Broadcasting and the E.W. Scripps company.
Tim’s nearly 30-year career in broadcast journalism included serving as news director at WXYZ-TV in Detroit. Under his direction, the news department received the esteemed Alfred I. DuPont award for broadcast journalism excellence from Columbia University in New York.
with Kristine Kletke, President, PMSI Marketing Group
Kristine founded PMSI Marketing Group in 1999. She has more than 25 years of experience working with businesses in marketing, business development, digital media, website strategy and development and strategic marketing. She was trained in business development by top trainers in the pharmaceutical industry and won multiple awards for top performance, including the President’s Award for the top 10% in a Fortune 500 company.
As an entrepreneur, she has successfully grown PMSI from a fledgling business to a full-service marketing & digital media firm servicing Michigan as well as national accounts. Today Kristine and her team lead the brand & digital campaigns of multiple organizations, where her client roster has ranged from start-ups, to leading professional services firms, to a $650 million health care and a $300 million senior service organization. PMSI is a certified woman-owned business and recent regional Diamond Award winner.
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING & COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
with Jennifer Pascua, Lead Community Relations, Spectrum Health
Jennifer Pascua is Lead Community Relations, with a focus on relationship management in the Community Partnership team at Spectrum Health. Her overall duties focus on maintaining strong relationships with external partners helping to connect them to Spectrum Health’s mission, vision, and strategic plan. She’s also the Founder/Owner of Halo Halo Multimedia, LLC- a Filipino-American family-run freelancing group offering a mix of micro media services serving and elevating BIPOC and women entrepreneurs and disability and non-profit organizations. Jennifer is also an Adjunct Professor at Hope College’s Communication Department. Prior to this, she worked as a Content Engagement Manager at Serendipity Media and spent more than 25 years in Broadcast Journalism as a Host/Anchor/Reporter, including 13 years at WZZM. She holds a BA in Communications from Northern Illinois University and a MS in Communications from Grand Valley State University.
