Join us Monday, February 1 for our first Breakfast with Legislators event of 2021! Facilitated question-and-answer sessions will offer firsthand information on upcoming legislation and House and Senate committee activities. We’ll welcome Congressman Fred Upton and State Representative Thomas Albert as we discuss issues related to COVID-19 relief and vaccination, the transition to the Biden administration, the state budget and 2021 priority items.

Breakfast with Legislators provides Chamber members and their employees the opportunity to establish relationships with key decision makers and voice opinions on issues moving forward in Lansing.

Congressman Fred Upton
Congressman Upton was first elected to Congress in 1986 and represents Michigan’s 6th Congressional District. He serves on the Energy and Commerce committee and subcommittees for Energy, Health, and Consumer Protection and Commerce. His top priorities are job creation, economic growth, and working to help all residents of Southwest Michigan live longer, better lives.

Representative Thomas Albert
Representative Albert was first elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in November 2016 and represents the 86th District. He serves as chair of the House Appropriations committee and is a proud West Michigan native, University of Michigan alumnus, and Marine Corps veteran.
