Join us for the first ATHENA event of 2022! The ATHENA Leadership Forum celebrates women in leadership by featuring local women leaders sharing their leadership lessons. By empowering, connecting, and equipping women in West Michigan to fearlessly lead, we are dedicated to cultivating our next generation of leaders. This is an event you won’t want to miss!
This month, we’re excited to hold our forum at The Lit. Mirabel Fonyuy Umenei will be joining us for the event to share her story. Mirabel is a singer/songwriter, entrepreneur, and facilitator. She is an excellent storyteller, and she will equip the audience to incorporate storytelling into their own leadership. This is an ATHENA event you won’t want to miss!

Meet the Speaker
Mirabel Fonyuy Umenei 
Singer/Songwriter/Entrepreneur
Mirabel F. Umenei, better known by her artist name Myra Maimoh, was born in Cameroon. The determined artist, who sparkles with solid studio and professional ethics starting singing and dancing at the tender age of three. Whether in girl bands or as a solo performer, Myra had always been very musically active and was sure to be the center of attention wherever she sang. Before leaving for Germany in 2005 to pursue a degree in International Business Administration, she was a high profile studio vocalist in Cameroon, where she belonged to the most booked vocalists, recording in the best studios for the most famous artists and radio stations. Mirabel F. Umenei is very passionate about strengthening existing business structures, facilitating the creation of new businesses in Cameroon as well as giving businesses the tools and skills they need to compete not only in Cameroon but abroad as well.
