Minority-Owned Business Resources
The Grand Rapids Chamber is invested in supporting our minority-owned business community in West Michigan. From capacity-building resources to networking and programs designed to increase supplier diversity, we have programs to help take businesses to the next level.
Minority Business Councils
Minority Business Council is a professional group within the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce that promotes a welcoming culture in the West Michigan Community for minority business owners. Minority Business Council offers opportunities for education and networking with an emphasis on civic engagement & advocacy, capability building and growing personal & professional networks.
Minority Business Council encourages representation of business owners and company decision-makers that stem from all underrepresented minority groups of all professional backgrounds, including corporations and small businesses from all industries. Contact Caylie Peet, Minority Business Program Manager to learn more.
West Michigan Minority Contractors events provide attendees the opportunity to connect with peers and gain potential business referrals. These events – both After Hours and the annual WMMC Golf Outing - provide a platform for buyers to connect with local minority-owned business construction professionals, as well as remove barriers for smaller construction companies to enter the market.
