Chamber Ambassadors 11

Ambassadors Council members serve as liaisons between the Chamber and its members by personally visiting and calling their peers. Through their efforts, Ambassadors help fellow members engage in the events, and money-saving opportunities that help them make full use of their membership. They also attend and aid Chamber staff at our various networking and Ribbon Cutting events.

2021 Ambassador of the Year

2021 Ambassador of the Year
Robin Bartells, Gordon Water Systems

The Chamber is honored to recognize Robin Bartells of Gordon Water Systems as the 2021 Ambassador of the year!  “2021 allowed for somewhat of a return to normal, albeit it slow, for Chamber activities.  Robin adjusted quickly to this new normal and was one of the first to begin reconnecting with her fellow Chamber Ambassadors, her responsibilities as an ambassador and re-engaging with members at Chamber events and ribbon cutting celebrations.” Said Mark Allen, Director of Business Services at the Grand Rapids Chamber.  “Robin truly loves being an Ambassador and welcoming members, both new and existing into our events.  She often seeks out new members and makes them feel comfortable and shows them how to get the most out of their Chamber membership.  Chamber staff and members alike can frequently be heard saying, Robin is everywhere!”

Robin is in both Sales and Marketing at Gordon Water Systems and has been with them for just over 9 years.  When wearing her sales hat, she is focused on drinking water and clean air solutions for businesses of all types and sizes.  When wearing her marketing hat, she coordinates the social media postings for Gordon Water Systems and is involved with many of the community events they support with drinking water.

Robin says “I am passionate about helping people have a better quality of life with clean, safe water and air.  I enjoy promoting both my business and the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce whenever I can.  Being a Chamber Ambassador and a Certified Tourism Ambassador provides me with many opportunities to make connections with people and businesses to help them thrive in this great community.”

Robin started her Chamber Ambassadorship in April of 2018 and has been an incredible addition to the council from day one.  The Chamber is thankful for Robin and her continued commitment to serve as an Ambassador and to support all of our members.
