Calling all food lovers! Hop over to the Downtown Market on December 4th from 4-8 p.m. for their annual Winter Wonderland event! Merchants in the market will be offering special deals, and you can stop by the artisan market to get started on your holiday shopping (if you haven’t started already). Head over to Rosa Parks Circle after work on Friday, December 6 to witness the annual tree lighting ceremony. There will be many family-friendly activities including exploring fire trucks, visiting local vendor booths, and taking your first skate of the season on the ice rink! Grand Rapids Ball Drop
The Grand Rapids Ball Drop is back after a six-year hiatus. Head downtown starting at 4:00 p.m. on December 31st for festivities that will last until 12:30 a.m. on January 1, 2020! Metro Health Christmas & Holiday Traditions at Fredrik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park
Explore holiday traditions from around the world at Fredrik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park from November 26, 2019 – January 5, 2020. This gorgeous exhibit features over 40 gorgeously decorated trees, strolling carolers, and an educational display explaining symbols of holiday traditions around the globe.
