GR Chamber Announces New Director of Inclusion

The Grand Rapids Chamber has welcomed Andre Daley as their new Director of Inclusion.

In this role, Andre is responsible for overseeing diversity, equity, and inclusion programming at the Chamber, including the Diversity & Talent Series and Diversity & Talent Summit. His role also works to lead organizations through diversity, equity and training programs, including the Institute for Healing Racism, DEI Assessment, Implicit Bias Training, and Organizational Culture and Communication Training.

Staff 228Andre has an extensive background in diversity, equity and inclusion. He has worked as a consultant for businesses and organizations across a wide range of social sectors, from business to non-profit, health care and education. In addition to his own consulting business, Andre previously served as the Director of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Engagement at DA Blodgett – St. John’s.

“I am eager to put my experiences to practice in the West Michigan business community,” Daley said. “I look forward to supporting organizations and businesses as they continue to advance on their diversity, equity and inclusion journey.”

As a self-described people geek, Andre is passionate about helping people live their best lives by helping to create an inclusive, welcoming, and equitable community in Grand Rapids. He is looking forward to building relationships as he develops and shares resources and tools to help businesses align their values with equitable outcomes for all.

  • Andre was born in Kingston, Jamaica and has resided in Grand Rapids for 24 years.
  • Loves reading, practicing and teaching yoga, and spending time outdoors.
  • Proud father of two sons who are pursuing lives that will make a difference.
