Discover the Diverse Cultures of Grand Rapids!

Discover and learn about Grand Rapids’ diverse ethnic and cultural heritage by joining us for a Cultural Tour of the city on Wednesday, November 16.

After boarding a bus at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, the tour will kick off at the Grand Rapids Public Museum’s permanent exhibit Newcomers: The People of this Place, which includes more than 600 artifacts and images that helps illustrate stories of work, play, families, religion, prejudice, cultural traditions and more.

The tour will then move on to explore various Grand Rapids locations that have served as community cornerstones for those who have migrated to the area. The tour will end with a networking reception at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel’s Cygnus 27.
