In the midst of changing times, your business needs an advocate that speaks your language. At the Chamber, we work tirelessly to shape policies, ideas, and opportunities that improve the business environment.
We make the voice of West Michigan business heard in Lansing and beyond so that your company can save money and create jobs.
2014 Chamber Government Affairs Survey
Thank you to all who took time to participate in the survey! This year more than 700 members participated, with almost half of the responses coming from owners and employees of small businesses. The survey results will assist our member-driven advocacy efforts by identifying key issues that will help West Michigan become a stronger, more business friendly region.
Chamber members were polled on a variety of policy issues including: health care, tax, education, transportation, environmental affairs, and local government. The results show that businesses are experiencing encouraging growth, however, the rising cost of health care and Federal spending were once again the top issues businesses are concerned about in 2014.
