This is a ribbon cutting for Arbor Circle’s youth shelter The Bridge, which has recently undergone a complete remodel of the facility to make it a more warm, welcoming, and functional environment for the 250+ youth who stay with us each year. The event is for their Enrich the Bridge campaign supporters to tour the facility. Light refreshments will be provided starting at 4:00pm with remarks at 4:15pm, the 4:30pm ribbon cutting, and donor wall unveiling. Tours will be available until 6:00pm.

As one of West Michigan’s most comprehensive providers of mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and family development programs, Arbor Circle serves more than 20,000 children, youth, adults and families every year. The Bridge at Arbor Circle is a safe shelter program for youth who are facing homelessness or considering running away. In the middle of a crisis, the Bridge provides shelter, counseling, case management, group support, youth activities and connections to other needed services. The Bridge assists youth with meeting their basic needs, setting goals, building new life skills, and establishing connections with peers and mentors who can support them.
