2012 EPIC Award Recipients Honored May 16

Seventeen area businesses and individuals were vying for six awards at the third annual EPIC Awards, an event hosted by the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce May 16.

The EPIC Awards (which stands for Entrepreneurial, Progressive, Innovative and Collaborative) recognizes businesses and individuals that support the community, demonstrate growth, are innovative, and have worked with others as mentors and collaborators.

Criteria for all awards:

Nominees for the 2012 awards must have been Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce members in good standing for at least one year by May 16, 2012.

Nominees should be businesses or individuals that support the local community, demonstrate growth and stability, stand out and are innovative. Prefer Nominees who have worked with other businesses as mentors or collaborators.
