Education and Workforce Development Committee Objective

The Education & Workforce Development Committee works to ensure the development of a better educated and productive workforce. It advocates for public policy that enhances the education of the workforce, informs Chamber members of workforce development issues and serves as an agent setting the framework for continued collaboration among business, education, government, and local communities.

The Chamber supports efforts that encourage student achievement which, ultimately, provides a better-qualified workforce for West Michigan. This work is done through advocacy at the local, state and federal levels, through participation on a variety of boards and by supporting the work of other local groups whose goals and mission align with our priorities.
