Let Your Voice Be Heard: Join the Community Conversation

communityconvoYour voice and opinion is needed! MAP invites you to participate in a Community Conversation on July 28, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., followed by social networking from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., held at the Blue Cross Blue Shield offices on Monroe Center.

Community Conversation (conversations with citizens about the future of Michigan) is a project of The Center for Michigan. The Center for Michigan has collected input from 1,800 people in more than 100 meetings regarding what citizens believe should be priorities for the State. They wrote a report based on the first conversations and are seeking additional citizen input from across the state.

The Center staff will come in, hold the meeting and survey the people who attend. It is high quality content and the meetings are fun. The results and conversation will be a part of the Center's next report. They plan to take these priorities and try to turn them into public policy decisions, so the voices of people and their opinions can be heard by State Legislators.

Click here to see Center's last report, Michigan's Defining Moment.

Your participation is encourage. Please RSVP no later than July 23 to diversity@grandrapids.org or (616) 771.0332.
