Today, the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (PAC), the Friends of West Michigan Business, announced its candidate endorsements for Kent County Commission. The PAC, made up of various business and community leaders, took action to support pro-business candidates. Endorsements were based on candidate questionnaires, interviews and past performance for incumbents.
“The Chamber PAC endorses candidates who will advance our priorities and be good stewards of taxpayer resources while serving Kent County,” said Chamber President & CEO Jeanne Englehart. “It is important that the business community hears from us on who will be the best pro-business leaders for our area,” continued Englehart.
“The Chamber PAC takes great pride in our open endorsement process. All candidates are invited to participate and each is asked a variety of questions regarding issues important to job creators,” said Andy Johnston, Legislative Director for the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce.
