The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce will once again be participating in and assisting with the Hiring Our Heroes event on January 24, 2013 in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
This is a unique and free job fair designed for both employers and veteran or military-related job seekers. The event seeks to help veterans, active duty military members, guard and reserve members, and military spouses connect with local employers and businesses who could benefit from our service men and women's expertise, training, and discipline.

This hiring event is being conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Michigan Veterans’ Services Division, Pure Michigan Workforce Development Agency, the Michigan Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the U.S. Army Reserve, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, The American Legion, NBC News, and other local partners.
