The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce, Crain’s Michigan Business and the Michigan State Housing Development Authority are working with home owners, neighborhood associations, and developers to promote some of Grand Rapids best-kept secrets – its distinct neighborhoods, unique homes and the fascinating people who live there.
On Wednesday, August 29 the Chamber’s newest event, The Grand Rapids House Party, will offer up to 300 attendees the exclusive chance to visit a home, loft, apartment or condo in one of Grand Rapids core neighborhoods and experience the best the city has to offer: vibrant, diverse and inclusive communities nestled in pockets all over the city.
The evening begins with a small cocktail party hosted by Grand Rapids homeowners. You’ll sign up for a unique location and meet the homeowners and other party goers. Following cocktails, party guests move downtown for a strolling dinner, entertainment and after glow.
This event has much to offer for both newcomers and long-time residents. Party goers get to mingle and meet in both the small and large scale. We promise an event like none other we’ve organized before. You won’t want to miss Grand Rapids House Party 2012.
