Center for Community Leadership

Offers nationally recognized programs for leadership development (Leadership Grand Rapids, Leadership Advantage), community orientation (Inside Grand Rapids and Download GR) and community connections (Leadership Forums).

Diversity & Inclusion Community Resources

The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce is the only chamber in the nation with a department dedicated to diversity. The Chamber provides programs, services and resources that can help your business or organization incorporate, embrace and benefit from diversity and cultural competency in the workplace.

Family Business Alliance

FBA provides information, tools and resources for family business owners, family members, executives and employees through a variety of workshops, seminars and networking opportunities, helping these vital businesses meet today’s challenges and ensure success for future generations. 

Multiracial Association of Professionals (MAP)

Creates a strong network of professionals of all races to help welcome people and celebrate racial diversity within the community. MAP services assist employers to welcome, retain and connect professionals of color and their family to the Greater Grand Rapids Area.


Has more than 20 counselors who provide free and confidential business advice to any entrepreneur or business owner in Kent County or the surrounding area – in person, by phone or via e-mail.

Silent Observer

Is a partner program between the Chamber and the Grand Rapids Police Department that uses cash incentives to encourage reports of criminal activity.
