Dante Villarreal joins the Chamber from the Michigan Small Business Development Center, where he spent 11 years as the Regional Director for West Michigan.
In his role there, he interacted with and advised entrepreneurs, business leaders, and economic support organizations across a 13-county West Michigan region and developed many new and innovative programs to grow small business.
Dante is well versed and distinguished in the field of business and economic development including accolades and accreditation as a Certified Small Business Consultant, Certified Global Trade Specialist, SBA International Trade Specialist, Hispanic Business Person of the Year, SBA Minority Business Champion of the Year, Holland Chamber Minority Business Advocate of the Year, and 40 Under 40 Business Leaders.
Dante earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University and brings the Chamber 20 years of experience in economic and business development, including owning his own business.
As Vice President of Business Services, Dante will lead the Chamber’s initiatives to help members:
• Identify, learn, and apply best business practices
• Connect with business experts and peers to provide advice, guidance and resources
• Build a network to develop relationships with new and existing customers
• Access cost saving business services and programs
